[English Channel/Normandy Beaches]

On watch 2400-0400. Saw surface craft attack next convoy. On water 0800-1200. Beached at 1300. Dropped kedge off beach until 2200. Sailed in convoy with LCTs. 5 knots. On watch until 2400.
